We aim to construct a physcomitrella (moss) that can produce the potential prostate cancer drug - thapsigargin and other sesquiterpene compounds. The project is conducted in close collaboration with Christina Lunde from our d epartmen t, Poul Nissen from Århus university and Søren B. Christensen from FARMA, KU. Find one of our papers here:

Through the use of bioinformatics we will study the biochemistry in this plant family of these interesting compounds. Apart from working my family and I enjoy scouting and trekking. I have been a scout since 1982 and leader since 1994. So scouting is my main spare time activity.
