CIPK kinases and their role in regulation of the H+ pump

We have previously identified PKS5 as a regulator of pump activity. pks5  knock out plants have an increased tolerance towards high pH in the external medium. We are investigating other protein kinases of this family to see if they also regulate H⁺-pump activity.
