Armando Salmean

Armando will study the plant cell wall of Equisetum spp., a living fossil with components (Mixed Linked Glucan), that were believed to be present only in the grass family and the aquatic Lemna spp., a fast-growing plant in polluted waters. These plants are potential resources in biorefineries.
