In memory of Caretaker Lars Bo Andersen - 28.10.2011

Lars Bo Andersen died on Friday 21 October 2011 after a short illness. The funeral will take place Monday, October 31.

 

Lars Bo Andersen was employed as a caretaker at Department of Plant Biology and Biotechnology, but it was not only during working hours that he took care of his colleagues. For a number of years Lars Bo Andersen shared his interest in fungi with us, and he organized an annual mushroom hunt for employees at the department. Both international and Danish employees brought their families along for a walk in the woods, where they received expert guidance in collecting edible fungi.

 

Lars Bo Andersen will be remembered as a happy, welcoming and helpful colleague. He was much appreciated and he will be sorely missed.
