PUMPKIN
The Centre for Membrane Pumps in Cells and Disease - PUMPKIN is a highly interdisciplinary research centre funded by the Danish National Research Foundation. The centre analyses the structure and function of P-type ATPases, a family of ion pumps that are found in all cells of all bacteria, plants and animals, and energize metabolite flow in and out of cells. The PUMPKIN laboratories are situated both at Aarhus University and the University of Copenhagen.
The centre is coordinated from Aarhus University and head of Centre at the University of Copenhagen is Professor Michael B. Palmgren.
